IHS Battle of the Colleges

Kick starting the competition season for 2009, the NSW IHS Battle of the Colleges will be held on May 11 with all private hairdressing college students encouraged to attend.



Sponsored by Racoon Hair Extensions, IHS NSW launched the NSW competition season with a host of new competitors and a series of events in Port Macquarie, Sydney, Wollongong and Tamworth in early 2009.

Kick starting the competition for the year, the NSW IHS Battle of the Colleges will be held on May 11, 2009 at Burwood RSL with a series of catwalk presentations as each college battles it out to win. All students of private NSW hairdressing colleges are encouraged to attend and each college is invited to produce a themed presentation showcasing the latest fashion and hair trends.

IHS Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane will host IHS Battle of the Colleges events later in 2009 that will again be open to all students of hairdressing colleges, TAFE and private colleges.

Victory Institute Sydney and Chisholm Institute Melbourne are the latest IHS member colleges to be added to an already impressive membership line up.
