O&M shoot live at Hair Expo

Original and Mineral's creative team hit the Hair Expo exhibition floor recently staging live photo shoots, workshops and get-the-look seminars.

Key O&M stylists including Nick from Conrad Mace in VIC and Brett from B Coloured in NSW were on hand to create styles reflective of O&M’s clean and stress-free signature over the Hair Expo long weekend. The creative team were also on hand to discuss hair trends and the unique specifics of the O&M brand.


Look styled  by Lovynia Worrall of Elev8 Hair, WA

Lovynia Worrall of Elev8 Hair in Bunbury, WA created the look above on the O&M stage. “Inspiration for this style came from the latest Moschino campaign in French Vogue and was created using O&M’s Atonic and Style Guru. We set the hair and also used additional hair pieces to develop an abstract style and finished it with O&M's Frizzy Logic and hairspray.”


Look styled by Verity Griffiths at Stevie English Hair, NSW

Verity Griffitsh at Stevie English Hair in Sydney created the above look remarking that it was "Inspired by film noir meets Margaret Thatcher after a saucy night in the sack!"


Look styled by Kerry Bolton at Atlantis Hair, NSW

The above look was created  by Kerry Bolton at Atlantis Hair, NSW. “My inspiration for this style came from BIG hair and wigs and I wanted to develop a look that made natural hair look like a wig. The one length cut and blunt fringe was turned into a fashion forward style, and texture and volume were added to the model's hair (which is all her own) to help create the look,” said Bolton.

The above look was styled by Nicholas Howard from Conrad Mace in Victoria. “The model had very sweet and classic features and I wanted to create something that would both complement and contrast them. The final product was an updated version of a 50’s rocker look with real attitude - the red lips say it all! She almost should have been wearing a puffy skirt with dogs on it along with little socks and sand shoes. I love doing this type of work, creating something that will complement but also has a real point of difference.....something not quite right," said Howard.
