Friday September 19, saw 50 of Australia’s top educators gather for an exclusive preview of Pivot Point’s inspiring new resource A Designer’s Approach, tailored specifically to suit the Australian market.
The most substantial update to the Pivot Point library in 20 years, A Designers Approach replaces the existing Scientific Approach Library – maintaining Pivot Point’s proven methodology while incorporating new and modern educational principles. In addition to the upgrade, Pivot Point has announced its plans to release a fully customised Australian and New Zealand version of its training packages for 2010.
“The redevelopment of The Scientific Approach to The Designers Approach is a very exciting time for hair designers and educators… Today’s artists require a structured discipline foundation to build their creative interpretations and deliver their designs in a commercial environment,” said Julie Hagney, Principal of Pivot Point International Academy, Sydney. Pivot Point’s most popular resource Salon Fundamentals has also been revised to suit the Australian Training Package.
Furthermore, following 45 years of industry experience and with distributors in 70 countries worldwide, Pivot Point has unveiled its new brand identity. The updated corporate logo follows extensive research into consumer awareness and encompasses elements of the Bauhaus – linking the traditional roots of Pivot Point in a new contemporary setting.
