IHS membership packages and events 2010

Following the success of the International Hairstylists Association’s 2009 education and competitions calendar, the IHS has announced new membership packages for 2010.

Individual apprentice, student or senior membership includes free entry into show nights, a subscription to your favourite professional hair magazine INSTYLE as well as discounted door entry to competitions and free entry into show nights.

The IHS member salon package includes up to six individual memberships and use of the ‘IHS Member Salon’ logo for promotional purposes.

The introduction of new categories and events, School of the Year in the State Awards and the IHS Battle of the Colleges, has also increased the number of ‘IHS Member Colleges’.

The IHS Member College package includes five individual memberships for staff, five one-year subscriptions to INSTYLE for your college, 50 free tickets to IHS show nights, discounted competition entry for students and use of the IHS Member College’ logo – unbelievable value and extremely affordable.

If that’s not enough, the IHS are hosting a variety of industry events throughout the year.

Monday February 22 heralds the IHS’ education calendar launch, Show Night, featuring shows by Sharon Blain, Pivot Point,  DCI Education and Racoon Hair Extensions.

There are also various mini competitions and challenges throughout the year as well as Battle of the Colleges on May 24.

Another two inspiring show nights are scheduled on September 27 and October 25 – ensuring there is more than enough to look forward to.
