IHS NSW mini competitions
[Wed 17/02/2010 12:21:06]
It's time to get competitive and creatively inspired again – the International Hairstylists Society NSW Mini Competitions are almost upon us.
Kicking off in Sydney on March 22, the competition then travels to Wollongong (April 12), Tamworth (May 10) and Port Macquarie (July 4).
Competitors are asked to style a model for the awards in any one of the categories which include high fashion cut, colour, bridal and hair extension looks.
The models will be judged and paraded in front of an audience of competitors, peers and industry personalities, showcasing the latest looks in hair and fashion.
There are junior, senior and open categories, with first, second and third prizes awarded for each of the competitions.
Racoon Hair Extensions is a proud sponsor of the IHS NSW Mini competitions and inspired the Extension Forecast Look competition.
The IHS NSW mini competitions offer an excellent opportunity for hairdressers to showcase their creativity and expertise, while fashion-forecasting for 2010.
For many apprentice and student hairdressers the IHS Mini competitions offer their first introduction to the competition environment.
