L'Oreal Professionnel launches INOA

L'Oréal Professionnel unveiled INOA in February with a national discovery tour across five states for some of Australia's most passionate colourists.

Said to be one of the biggest advancements in hair colour since Eugene Schueller first developed professional colour 100 years ago, INOA's Oil Delivery System (ODS) is completely free of ammonia and brings a new experience to both the stylist and the salon client. The INOA discovery tour stopped off at Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane with a series of hands-on workshops.
 

Invitations were sent to top colourists nationally and more than 160 attended to learn about the product that has already exceeded expectations in Europe, with more than 36,000 salons so far stocking INOA colour services. This ‘elite discovery group’ were among the first in the country to get hands on with a new colouring formulation.

Divided into groups, guests were allocated a colour shade to apply to their model and were filmed and interviewed along the way. All filming from each state’s discovery days will go live on the INOA mini-site which is due to launch in April 2010.

L’Oréal Professionnel National Education Manager, Diedre Jacklin, hosted the workshops and unveiled the ODS technology after guests experienced the incredibly easy mixing and application process for themselves.
 

"The INOA discovery days gave those the opportunity to experience INOA for themselves, but it also meant that we could gauge their reactions first hand. We have been testing INOA since July last year and although we understand it is truly revolutionary, we were so pleased that everyone was consistent in confirming this," said Deidre.
 

Steady distribution of INOA globally, means the product is now represented in 15 countries, while the INOA discovery tour will continue around the Australia as a series of complimentary education classes from April 2010.
