L'Oréal Professionnel Hair Director Luke Davies directed the hair for Rosemount Australian Fashion Week’s Sabatini White Spring/Summer 2010/2011 collection.

In keeping with the sexy cut-outs, fur and frills conveying Sabatini White's S/S 2010 vision, Luke created hairstyles that reflected innocent femininity.

“The idea behind the hair was to keep it soft, fresh and feminine with an angelic-like quality. It’s important that the hair style compliments the beauty of the clothes and acts as an extension to the entire collection,” says Luke. "The soft down style incorporates three textures; smooth and soft in the top lengths, melting curls in the middle lengths and brushed out ruffled ends.”

“The hair is almost going to create the illusion of forming part of the clothes. Mirrored both sides, the style comes in at the eyes and out at the cheek before dissolving into the clothes,” he said.

Get the look:
1. Work a small amount of L'Oréal Professionnel Texture Expert Gelée Cashmere into the palm of the hands and apply through the lengths of damp hair to thicken and add body.
2. Follow by double moussing the hair with L'Oréal Professionnel Texture Expert Mousse Volupté for volume and hold.
3. Clean blow dry the hair with a perfect centre part.
4. Using curling tongs, start on the top layers of hair and curl sections only to eye level. Pin to scalp and allow to set. Repeat the process until all hair lengths are curled - pinning the curls in a brick formation.
5. Once cool, remove pins and brush out just at the ends.
6. For the last 10cm of hair at the bottom, tease lightly and kink with a crimper using a back-combing motion to create the ruffled ends.
7. Finish with L'Oréal Professionnel Elnett Satin Strong Hold Hairspray to hold style in place.
