As a Hair Expo guest, you will be able to visit a model Aveda Lifestyle Salon and see how Aveda can sustainably grow your business.
You will have the opportunity to experience everything Aveda from the ‘Rituals of Renewal’ massage ritual, to the working of an Aveda salon including the hair colour education area, spa treatment room and full domain retail area as well as relax in the business lounge with Aveda Salon Development Partners to discuss how Aveda can benefit your business.
If you want to see some action, then Aveda ‘Purefessionals’ will be presenting on the main stage, pre-launching the new Sublime collection for the first time in Australia. The collection features intense flashes of light in hair, cuts that are shattered and unstyled: formulas that are easy to apply in the salon.
For attendees looking for a business boost, Aveda is sponsoring the Benchmark for Success business seminar; an advanced business training seminar for salon/spa owners and managers that will explore a set of key curriculum that ensures salon growth and creative success.
Then, after a weekend of Aveda inspiration, it’s time to let your hair down. Aveda will be hosting the 6th Australia & New Zealand Aveda Colour Harmony Award party on Sunday June 13, where the winner will be announced.
The award honours creativity, technical skill, vision and the holistic connection between hair colour and Makeup that best reflects current style directions.
First prize includes an overseas trip for the hair colourist to an Aveda international event including airfare and accommodation valued at $5,000. The winning makeup artist will receive an Aveda makeup kit valued at $1,000.
All of Australia’s top finalist entries will be judged anonymously by an international panel of judges including Antoinette Beenders, Vice President Global Creative Director, Aveda, Rudy Miles, Global Educator Make-up, Aveda, Ian Michael Black, Technical Director, Aveda Academy, London, Jo Mckay, Technical Educator Aveda Europe.
