Winners of Aveda Colour Harmony Award 2010 announced

Aveda has announced Rebecca Sun, Styling Director of LucEspace (NSW) and Chereine Waddell, makeup artist, are the winners of the 6th Australia & New Zealand Aveda Colour Harmony Award.

Held on June 13 at a cocktail event in Sydney's Convention and Exhibition Centre overlooking Darling Harbour, guests perused the finalists' photographic images, sipped champagne and enjoyed canapes while waiting for the highly anticipated award to be announced.
Australia’s top five finalist entries were judged anonymously by an international panel of judges including: Antoinette Beenders, Vice President Global Creative Director - Aveda, Rudy Miles, Global Educator Make-up - Aveda, Pauline Cairns, Education Director, EMEA & Oceania - Aveda, Ian Michael Black, Technical Director, Aveda Academy, London, Jo Mckay, Technical Educator Europe - Aveda, Jenny Burns, Editor Culture Magazine and Mick Luppino, Lupp Hair, AHFA Australian Hairdresser of the Year.

The Colour Harmony Award honors creativity, technical skill, vision and the holistic connection between hair colour and make-up with work that best reflects current style directions and the spirit of Aveda.
Not only did Rebecca and Chereine win the honour of winning such a prestigious award, the Colour Harmony prize package includes a trip for Rebecca Sun to the next European Aveda Master Jam in London next year, to the value of $5000 and a shoot in Culture magazine. Winning makeup Artist Chereine Waddell received a $1000 Aveda makeup kit.
