Our Place Salon, set in a bustling street of Potts Point is set to become the place for a cut and color to suit the lifestyle of a busy executive through to a fashion-savvy local.

Headed by KMS California¹s International Artistic Director Clive Allwright and esteemed colourist and stylist Kelly Grant, the salon houses an endearing and contemporary space set amongst a close-knit community of cafes, restaurants and bars.

One of its main features is a striking light fixture purchased from New York City to add a luxe vibe.

Rachel Divine from Resene Paints helped Clive and Kelly create an atmosphere of relaxed sophistication using a colour palette from Karen Walker.

By utilising the small space and transforming it into a boutique salon it evokes something that you would see in East Village, New York City, with seven chair and a consulation room out the back.

Clive Allwright is a name synonomous with hairdressing excellence. For the past 25 years, he has worked with Australia’s top fashion magazines, and advertising campaigns and has been a hair director at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week for labels including Camilla and Marc and Wayne Copper. His long list of editorial credits includes work in Vogue, INstyle, Cosmopolitan, Russh, Oyster Frankie to name a few.

Kelly has a long line of credentials all of her own – that span her 15 years experience in the industry. As the NSW finalist of the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy 2010, Kelly will continue creating fashion forward looks that are tailored to her vast and varied clientele.
