ECO Hair Products in conjunction with the International Hairdressing Society (IHS) has launched a new session styling competition Collection Live – that will see the the rising stars of hairdressing interpret seasonal trends for 2010/11.

The session styling competition will see salons – or individuals representing salons – competing, and entry is by invitation only. There will be three competition dates in total, the first of which will be held on Monday July 5, 2010.

Of the three competition nights, two winners will be chosen to go through to the finals. The judges will choose one winner, and the other is determined by the audience.

The first night of Collection Live will see competitors presenting their predictions for winter 2010 on stage.

Two further competition dates – to be confirmed, will see competitors predict their trends for Spring / Summer. At the finals, the six winners chosen from the three competition evenings will compete for the grand prize – a whopping $5000.

The judging panel will be made of ECO Hair Products Managing Director Cliff Georgiades, ECO Hair Products Educator and IHS Champion Leonie Rudd and IHS representatives.

The competition promises to showcase session styling flair and will be held at the newly refurbished Trak Live Lounge Bar in Melbourne.
