Since opening its doors in March The Creative Group has evolved into an intimate boutique salon; a creative space that hosts a small assembly of artistic ‘Creators’ who craft a unique ‘hand made’ hairdressing experience for each and every client that walks through their door.

Award winning creative colourist and Creative Group owner Jacen Ward and his fellow ‘Creators’ Sarah Chandler and Nathan Glynn, have finally  positioned their last piece of customised salon furniture into place - adding the finishing touches to the salon space they refer to as ‘an intimate menagerie of simplicity, beauty and charm’.

The décor reveals intricate detailing and provides palpable cues of personal art and literary discourses. The 1950’s underpins much of the salons interior including three re-crafted office furniture chairs and retro-inspired light fittings.

Sepia toned family photographs are dotted around a bookshelf of personally selected novels, from a Banksy biography to The Life of Dorian Gray. A Kill Pixies original hangs behind a delicate glass table and fresh David Austen Roses are placed perfectly on a custom made dresser from Italy’s north coast.

“The key focus was to capture a very boutique salon space. It was more about replicating the brand philosophy of a unique an innovative approach to the hairdressing service," Jason explained.  “Clients are taken by the hand, on an opulent journey of hair artistry with a sole assigned Creator from consultation through to the final mirror check.”
