Andre Faiva's Erotica collection that represents the strength and femininity of the modern woman. Having being inspired by Madonna’s controversial 1992 Sex book and the correlating Erotica album, he sought to create a collection of images that represented women’s sexuality and hair that was natural, textured and seamless.

The colour tones are natural with a grown out feeling throughout. A focal colour technique is raw fading which involves creating a natural looking re-growth with pre-lightened ends created through backcombing colour as well as smudging.

The haircuts and styling are a mixture of various techniques that all create natural, expensive-looking hair. For the hair to look lived and natural, techniques such as razor cutting, slicing, back cutting and channeling cutting where implemented. Further techniques touched upon the retro, using pin curling, hot roller setting, and bristle brush blow drying.
