Face of IHS entries closing

Judging for the International Hairstylists Society's Face of IHS Competition begins on September 2 - and entries close on September 1, so if you haven't already entered, time's fast running out!

Face of IHS 2009

There are three competition categories, and all are designed to challenge hairdressers to express their vision of trends for 2011, that they believe would not look out of place on the cover of a glossy magazine.

The Face of IHS offers three photographic, State and National competitions:

1. The Face of IHS - (First Prize inlcudes $2000)
2. The Colour Challenge - (First Prize = $1000)
3. The Men's Image - (First Prize = $1000)

Three finalists will be selected from each competition from every state from their respective IHS state championships. Out of three finalists, one will become the state winner of the competition they enter.

The state winners of each competition will then compete for the National award of their respective competition, with the outright Face of IHS winner then  chosen from all state winners from all three competitions.

All State finalists will receive a certificate and State winners will receive trophies.
