On 22 November, Pivot Point Academy students styled hair for dozens of models backstage at the Whitehouse Institute of Design’s 2010 graduation.

Media and the fashion crowd gathered alongside students’ friends and family at the Whitehouse Institute of Design’s elegant new premises in Surry Hills to view the collections and design work from this year’s graduating class.

The Whitehouse Institute’s annual graduate parade and exhibition is a celebration of student achievements, as well as a fantastic opportunity to view work from some of the brightest young designers as they debut in the Sydney fashion scene.

As guests from past years have come to expect, the evening did not disappoint; the parade was a display of imaginative and fresh design work.
As the models took the catwalk, the graduates watched their work from the wings.

They were joined backstage by students from Pivot Point Academy Sydney, many of whom were seeing their own work on the runway for the first time; Academy student teams styled models’ hair for the event; no small task with more than sixty models on hand.
