Behind the scenes at the FACE OFF finals

Chiselled male models? Check. Sexy men's styling? Check. See all this and more in this behind the scenes video from the American Crew FACE OFF finals evening.
Now in its seventh year, the American Crew Face Off competition allows stylists from across the country to profile their talents by creating a male hair style captured in a black and white photographic format. In addition, it provides top performers with amazing career development opportunities.
Guests were given the chance to see the exceptional quality of men’s grooming in Australia with an exhibition displaying the 700 black and white photographic entries submitted into the 2011 competition.
From the 700 entries, 20 creative photographic submissions created by 18 talented stylists were named finalists of the prestigious competition

The 710 guests in attendance, including the icons of the hairdressing and fashion world, were entertained by a fashion parade of Arthur Galan's SS2011 collection, featuring up and coming model, Nick Bracks and Hawthorn footballer, Josh Gibson.
GQ editor, Nick Smith, presented the coveted awards naming the finalists who included:

The three winners of the Face Off competition will be awarded an amazing trip to Los Angeles for five days, staying at the exclusive Chateau Marmont hotel and taking part in their very own photo shoot with American Crew founder, David Raccuglia.
In addition to this, winners will style their own shoots for GQ and Culture magazine as well being featured in the 2011 American Crew Face Off magazine.
A standout model from one of the black and white photographic entries will also be awarded an amazing two year modelling contract with top agency The Men’s Division.
