Following its success in 2010, the biggest names in hairdressing have again flocked to be part of Hair Expo Australia in 2011.
Main Stage at Hair Expo 2010
The exhibition floor is already at a record 85 per cent sold, gala night tickets are set to break last year’s record and exhibitors and visiting artists make one of the strongest line-ups ever.
Some of the biggest international artists are also descending on Hair Expo 2011, such as Aveda’s Global Artistic Director, Antoinette Beenders, TIGI International Creative Director, Anthony Mascolo and Redken’s Education Artistic Director, Sam Villa, who are all sharing their award winning creativity at seminars over the Expo weekend.
2010 saw a record attendance at the gala shows and 2011 is looking to outgrow those big shoes, thanks to the impressive list of national and international show acts already confirmed.
Saturday night will see current Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Shane Henning, warming up the crowd for Aveda’s Antoinette Beenders, then on Sunday, TIGI’s Anthony Mascolo will hit the stage as the main act for the GenerationNext Gala.
Anthony will be showcasing his talent alongside the hottest young hairdressers, including the GenNext Project team displaying their collaborative show – the culmination of an Australia-wide search to give five young stylists the backing needed to be part of this amazing event.
The weekend will culminate with the Schwarzkopf Professional Hair Expo Awards ceremony, dinner and after party on Monday June 13, where Schwarzkopf Professional will present an awe-inspiring show and the wait for winners across all awards categories will finally be over.
