The 2011 American Crew FACE OFF winners for 2011 are Amber De Kruif (Spada - VIC), Jamie Furlan (Xiang Hair - VIC) and Rita Ferraro (To Fred – NSW).

Amber De Kruif (Spada - VIC)
The Awards were presented by GQ Editor, Nick Smith and Australian fashion identity, Grant Pearce, to guests including some of Australia’s top stylists.
Now in its seventh years, the FACE OFF Competition was created to help promote the exceptional male grooming talent of salons and stylists across Australia. This year saw over 700 entrants submit creative styles in black and white photography for the chance to win incredible money-can’t–buy career development opportunities.

Jamie Furlan (Xiang Hair - VIC)
Overseen by American Crew founder, David Raccuglia, an extensive judging process beginning mid-2010 saw entries gradually narrowed to twenty finalists and three overall winners.
All three winners have been awarded a trip to Los Angeles in May to take part in their very own professional American Crew photo shoot with Raccuglia, staying at the exclusive and hip celebrity haunt, Chateau Marmont.

Rita Ferraro (To Fred – NSW)
In addition, the winners will get the chance to style shoots for GQ and Culture magazine as well being featured in the 2011 American Crew FACE OFF magazine.
The People’s Choice Award was awarded to Andrew Zumbo (BIBA Academy - VIC) who took home a $2,000 Arthur Galan AG wardrobe.

The annual event once again highlighted the outstanding world-class talents and growth of Australian stylists in the men’s grooming industry.
Due to the unprecedented success of the American Crew FACE OFF Competition here in Australia, the brand is planning to launch the competition globally taking place for the first time in the UK, USA and Europe.
