Spirit of the Black Dress with Alterna and NEW CID

Now in its third year Spirit of the Black Dress sees ten exclusively selected emerging designers, chosen by a panel of industry experts, re-envision the iconic black dress presented through a photographic exhibition, gala evening and fashion parade.

Creative Director Kirsten Reynolds and a team of stylists used Alterna and New CID products to create on-trend and inspirational autumn/winter season hair and makeup looks to accompany the environmentally sustainable designs.

Strutting designs from the young talents of Dan Jones, Georgia McCorkill and more, gala parade models sported disheveled, free form hair with a natural makeup look of dewy faces, minimal lashes and a nude lip.

Attended by media, industry and celebrity personalities the Spirit of the Black Dress event affirms the place of the must-have black dress in every woman’s wardrobe.
