A Wooly Night for L'Oreal Professionnel
[Thu 31/03/2011 03:09:10]
Hosted at Kirribilli’s Admiralty House, fashion designers such as Collette Dinnigan, and Dion Lee and accessory designer Inge Holst all took part in this inspired event where the very best in wool fabrics were teamed with creative genius.
Accompanying colour-rich woolen garments down the runway, the L’Oreal Professionnel backstage team crafted a style that embodied the qualities of wool – thick, texturised and body-rich.

Darren Borthwick backstage
Daren Borthwick, L’Oreal Professionnel Hair Director at last night’s Campaign for Wool fashion show, not only embodied these terms but took styling to the next level by adding dimensional shine and glamour to each look.
With the arrival of the new L’Oreal Professionnel Texture Expert Curl Corset, launching 1st June, luscious textured hair can be recreated at home to complement the latest winter trends.

Get the Look:
-
Apply a liberal amount of L’Oreal Professionnel Texture Expert Curl Corset (RRP $30) to the ends of towel-dried hair; then blast dry.
-
Separate the hair into approximately five parts and vertically tong each section to create a natural wave.
-
Once again, apply Texture Expert Curl Corset through the front and sides of the hair with a wide-tooth comb then diffuse the hair to set it in place.
-
Finish off with a spray of Infinium Lumiere Hairspray (RRP $14.95) for solidarity followed by a spritz of Texture Expert Sparkling Mist (RRP $30) to create a high-shine finish.
