Karla Spetic presented a Spring Summer 2011/12 collection of sleek tailored styles featuring bold block colours and vintage inspired prints.
Karla Spetic will have us sporting 60s resort style chic next season with a collection of tailored designs in light and bright fabrics creating a sleek pared down aesthetic.
Presenting capsule wardrobe perfection, proving that minimalism is stunningly achieved with a simple burst of colour; Karla´s creations are dappled with notions of independence, an inquisitive nature and an element of femininity.
Bold block colours of pink, orange, tangerine and green were contrasted against vintage inspired prints with a distinct 60s palette whilst simple tailoring made soft lines of cigarette leg trousers, sheer blouses and sleeveless trench coats.
The relaxed and minimalist resort style meets bright tailoring look was accompanied by a complimentary hair and makeup look, mimicking the simplicity and sharp boldness of Karla’s designs.
Redken’s Julianne McGuigan presented a super sleek and straight low ponytail with a centre part, hair wrapped around the elastic. The look was structured yet smooth, mirroring the clothing lines in its straightness and simplicity.
Napoleon Perdis revealed a clean face with bright lips that popped with colour, just as the collection did, using DeVine Goddess Lipstick in Hara.
