MYCURL styles the UK

Dario Cotroneo recently launched his styling tool MYCURL into one of the world’s most dynamic and respected markets, the UK.

A styling iron accessory that effortlessly creates gorgeous curls, volume and movement to produce editorial and red carpet worthy styles in just minutes, Dario Cotroneo took MYCURL on a tour of the UK.

Dario began his UK MYCURL launch tour in Bristol, meeting with high profile salons including Darrell and Mark Blake from Blushes and the current British London Hairdresser of the year, Skyler McDonald from Sean Hanna.

From Bristol, Dario travelled to Birmingham where he trained over 95 sales staff for the UK distributor Ashton and Fincher, spending a few days inspiring and educating the UK team on how to create “magazine hair in minutes” – the essence of the MYCURL collection.

“I am extremely excited that the company is progressing so rapidly on an international scale,” says Dario. “To launch to the London hairdressing scene is incredibly exciting for MYCURL as its home to some of the world’s best hairdressers. We found the best distributor that believes in the brand which is very rewarding.”

Arriving in Manchester, Dario presented an official MYCURL trade launch at the yearly event Salon Live where he commented that whilst British hairdressing was technically brilliant in cutting and colouring hair, it was however lazy in terms of styling.

“With today’s hair trends you can’t be lazy,” explains Dario. “MYCURL helps fill that gap to assist hairdressers in creating magazine hair in minutes.”

“We can’t wait to launch our next generation MYCURL Large along with Glam & Go (in salon service) into Australia soon. We recently shot the next MYCURL campaign and it looks amazing. I can’t wait to share it with our Australian hairdressing community,” says Dario.
