The Hair Expo weekend witnessed a Patron XO Cafe swilling, old school hip hop sounding, hair, fashion and media swarming social event not to be forgotten.

Paul Mitchell made the decision to generate talkability a little differently over the Hair Expo weekend this year – electing Sydney hot spot, Beach Haus to cause a welcome stir among prised Paul Mitchell clientele, scene-sters, and some of Australia’s most elite industry artists and media figures.

Thrown to thank key clientele while underscoring the brand’s rapport among the industry and creative community at large, the party dubbed ‘In the name of the Queen,’ saw people lined down the street to party with Paul Mitchell. A large Patron luge had guests literally on their knees for a shot of Patron XO Café (coffee liquor made with tequila) while A-grade espresso martinis had the crowd bouncing to the old-school tunes of Matt Saville long into the night.

Party people including Hair Expo Australian Hairdresser of the year finalist Frank Apostolopoulos, the Vine’s Alyx Gormon and Culture publisher, Hayley Miller were treated to delectable bites by celebrity caterers Eat and Shoot Through and each left with a goodie bag chock full of Awapuhi Wild Ginger by Paul Mitchell products.
