Aveda strutted glam blow-dries down the runway for David Jones, full of beautiful bounce and shine. Revealing the best of Spring Summer Collections, David Jones showcased model brand ambassadors Miranda Kerr and Samantha Harris in floating styles of bright block colour.

Samantha Harris
Aveda stylist Terri Robertson-Kirkwood created a glam blow-dry, set for the perfect summer’s day.

Get the Look:
1. Start by giving the hair a good towel dry.
Tip: By removing lots of moisture before applying your product, it stops the product being diluted and evaporating out of the hair when blow-dryingdirectly onto very wet hair.
2. Apply Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair to mid lengths and ends of hair and Aveda Phomollient to the roots for volume.
Tip: If your hair tends to be frizzy on the ends, add a little Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid as this will control frizz but is weightless so will not affect your volume.
3. Start by using your hands to dry the root area all over the head upwards then section all the hair away leaving only two inches at the nape.
Tip: Fine hair may want to add a few rollers to help give support and bounce, using Aveda Air Control to set.

4. Using a larger roller brush, dry hair round the brush - always drying hair upwards first and repeat in two- three inch section all round the head.
5. Once completed, leave hair to cool and set for five mins. This will allow your volume and movement to set and will last longer.
6. Finish by using your hands to sweep hair from one side to the other, to soften the look.
7. Tip your head backwards and spray with Aveda Air Control.
