Going to Great Lengths

Participating in Pink Ribbon month, Great Lengths Australia will be raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation this October. Via their ‘Pink Hair to Show You Care’ campaign, Great Lengths pale pink and hot pink hair extensions will be sported by women nationwide.
At $10 per strand, which includes both application and future removal, the donation will be provided in full to NBCF with Great Lengths hoping to raise over $10,000 this year.
“We recognise that the loss of a women’s hair during cancer treatment can be one of the most emotional parts of her journey. Hair is so representative of a women’s femininity and the loss of hair during cancer treatment can be incredibly distressing for many women”, says Rob Aubin, General Manager of Great Lengths Australia.
“We are experienced in working with women who have uneven growth and issues with fine hair, due to cancer treatment, pregnancy or hormone related causes. In these instances, having Great Lengths hair extensions applied can be immensely beneficial in building self confidence and creating gorgeous, completely natural looking hair that is easy to maintain," Aubin adds.
