Oscar Oscar Salons recently opened their eleventh Australian salon in Brisbane’s vibrant Fortitude Valley.
Back on their original home turf in Brisbane, it has been twenty-two years since the first Oscar Oscar Salon opened its doors in the Queen St Mall.
“Fortitude Valley is like the Kings Cross of Sydney. Yesterday’s trash is today’s treasure with all the trendy café’s and the hippest nightspots now swarming to Kings Cross and a similar shift is happening in Brisbane with the Valley. The Valley is getting a makeover and becoming more luxe,” said Oscar Cullinan, Owner & Director of Oscar Oscar Salons
Oscar Oscar Salons is one of a number of high-end brands located in Fortitude Valley with other prestige brands found in the precinct such as, Easton Pearson, Scanlan & Theodore, Akira and Subfusco.
Oscar Cullinan has partnering the new salon with Justin McLachlan who has been working with the Oscar Oscar group for over ten years and is also partners with Oscar Cullinan in his Brisbane CBD and Indooroopilly salon locations.
“Our new Valley location will be more tailored to the indie style, and retro look that is really popular with fashion at the moment. People in the Valley are really into their music and fashion and our new salon is really going to work to 6meet this market. It’s going to be a lot of fun,” said Justin.
The new Fortitude Valley Oscar Oscar Salon will be another Aveda concept salon for the group and will stock the entire range of Aveda hair-care and skin-care, as well as the natural Aveda Full Spectrum Colour Range and luxury Aveda treatments.
