Wella Professionals has released a new SP Sun range to protect hair during the summer months - providing a sun-safe solution for every client at home and in-salon.

“The new SP Sun range provides two truly bespoke services: the ultimate UV protection and a personalised prescription service. This means that each woman can have a really accurate and personal diagnosis,” says Eugene Souleiman, Wella Professionals Global Creative Director Care and Styling.

“Sun protection is becoming more and more important, especially when women have had their hair coloured and want to protect the beautiful result for as long as possible. It’s great to be able to offer them such a tailored approach to suit their individual needs,” he adds.

Taking inspiration from the sun protection technology in many skincare lines, the five new SP Sun products offer a complete line-up of sun protection and after-care products.

SP Sun Shampoo and Conditioner
Containing moisturising and caring ingredients, such as panthenol and glycerine, the SP Sun Shampoo also helps to remove chlorine and salt residue.

SP Sun After Sun Fluid
The SP Sun After Sun Fluid is a leave-in product containing ingredients that provide long-lasting hydration. The fluid also flaunts smoothing ingredients such as fatty alcohols to help restore softness and manageability.

SP Sun UV Spray
The non-greasy SP Sun UV Spray includes broadband UVA and UVB protection.

SP Sun Concentrate
Giving clients full control of their level of sun protection, the SP Sun Concentrate includes three UVA and UVB filters and can be mixed into SP Sun Conditioner or any SP conditioning product to deliver up to 10 hours of UV protection.

SP Sun In-Salon Sun Service
The SP Sun In-Salon Service encourages stylists to deliver personalised consultations and unique care solutions for clients. The new service provides tools which combine premium service with effective products.
