Dani Blakeley joins Lakme

Lakmé proudly announces the appointment of Face of Lakmé finalist Dani Blakeley as new Creative Director for the professional haircare brand.

With over 15 years experience in the industry, Dani Blakeley has taken her career from the shores of the Gold Coast (training under Benni Tognini and Stelios Papas) to the cityscape of Hong Kong and salons of London.
Co-owner of Yoshiko Hair with her husband David in Melbourne’s St Kilda, Dani is excited to be bringing her experience and success to the Lakmé brand.
“I just love doing hair, so being appointed the Creative Director for Lakmé is a real honour for me,” says Dani.
“I love doing session work for the variety and creativity, bit my true passion is being on the salon floor,” explains Dani. “Regardless if the client is after a new cut, or if I’m creating a new look with colour, I love what I do every single day.”
