Shortcuts shine the spotlight on client feedback with the launch of a new application that will open up the communication channels between salons and their customers.

Titled ‘Spotlight’, the application will serve as a comprehensive customer relationship management system and will be made available to all Shortcuts clients.
“Spotlight gives salon owners the chance to put their businesses under the microscope and interact more directly and consistently with their clients,” says Shortcuts Software CEO Rebecca Randle.
According to Randle, the rising power of customer advocacy in the online space is making it increasingly important for salons to respond to negative feedback in a timely manner.

“We want to encourage businesses to manage their online reputation,” explains Randle. “Negative feedback doesn’t make or break a brand, it’s how that feedback is managed that counts.”
The ‘Spotlight’ application prompts clients to rate their experiences immediately after their appointments, giving salon owners access to instant feedback and an opportunity to respond directly to their customers.
