The story of Crème Simon has had an extensive journey, travelling from 1860s France to your very own Sydney Sephora store.

Developed by apothecary Joseph Simon, to cure the chapped hands of the laundresses in the 19th century. The product transitioned from hands to faces, and then expanded around the world, becoming a global phenomenon in American, Japan Russia and China. It was used by iconic figures such as Brigitte Bardot and Dominique Wilms, marking its definitive place in history.

The brand has boasted many firsts in the beauty industry, including being the first company to utilise glycerine in cream and the first skincare brand to recognise the effects of climate conditions on the skin. As such every Crème Simon has been specifically formulated for different climates depending on location – hot, cold and high humidity. This speaks to the innovation of the brand.

Centred on natural beauty, all Crème Simon products are free from parabens, alcohol, silicones, sulfates, mineral oils and colourings. This makes it the go-to range for sensitive skin types.

The hero product comes in the form of Crème Universelle, which features the original Activ-Fleur Complex found in Joseph’s very first formula. Other stand out products include the Gentle Double Exfoliation Scrub, Oxygenating Foaming Cleanser and Multi Benefits Eye Roller pen, which serve to boost radiance, skin regeneration and oxygenating properties of the skin.

With its distribution through Sephora’s Pitt St store, Crème Simon can now add Australia to an already extensive global list. Find out why women around the world have lauded the products for over 150 years.
