Nail polish brand Smith & Cult has expanded from nails to lips with the new Shining Lip Lacquer Collection. Known for their unique packaging, rich colours and playful names, Smith & Cult is shifting this reputation to their dynamic new collection of lip glosses.
Made of natural coconut essence and portulaca pilosa extract to ensure moisture, volume and elongated wear, the collection includes eight shades with the creative names Smith & Cult is famous for. Flesh Riot, The Queen Is Dead, The Lovers and five other colours range from pinks to purples, oranges and more, all in the collection’s signature soft texture. The collection is also vegan, gluten free and paraben free.
Part of the trendy portfolio from Rogue Beauty, which includes luxury haircare brand Oribe and the edgy products you may remember from Splendour in the Grass, R+Co, Smith & Cult has made a name for itself as the next big thing in nails. Created by Hard Candy’s Dineh Mohajer, the nail colours are free of Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene and Camphor, and promise bold hues and premium finishes. The ‘characters’ assigned to each shade represent the life experience of a beauty junkie – juxtaposing Smith, the sophisticated icon, and Cult, the more edgy archetype.
While Smith & Cult has always felt like more than just nails, it’s now branching out, bringing their signature attitude to an enviable collection of lip glosses we can’t wait to get our hands on.
