After hosting an impressive guest list at their Paris party, headlined by none other than Kylie Minogue, Lancôme continued the celebrations of their 80th anniversary right here in Sydney. 170 VIP attendees showed up to wish the brand a very happy birthday.
Lancôme Australia General Manager Ed Holmes hosted the event at The Langham Sydney, allowing the guests to experience what the brand described as a ‘voyage of the senses’. The sensory fest included beverages of Cuvée Rosé by Laurent Perrier, watercolour works by internationally acclaimed illustrator Kerrie Hess and elegant roses arranged by Saskia Havekes of Grandiflora, but this was just the beginning.
The main course consisted of a fittingly French-inspired meal created by The Langham Sydney’s Executive Chef, Thomas Heinrich and Head Patissiere, Chef Miguel Jocson, as well as Australia’s leading food editor, Donna Hay. For entertainment Aussie pop star Jessica Mauboy took to the floor, wowing the guests with her grace and, of course, supreme talent.
Encompassing the brand’s values of beauty and innovation to a tee, I think we can all join in wishing Lancôme a happy birthday as it turns 80 years young.
