An intimate lunch at Café Paci set the stage for Ultraceuticals’ UltraMD event last month. Hosted by the brand’s founder, Dr Geoffrey Heber, as well as CEO Olivier DuVillard, the duo showcase the alchemy of ‘science and skincare’ as a testament to the doctors only range.
The room had a sleek, laboratory inspired aesthetic, complete with dry ice, a pop up science lab and a collection of white orchids between the beakers, thanks to stylist Steve Cordony.
Guests enjoyed a lunch of Rainhow Trout, a scientific nitrogen-based fruity dessert and the obligatory glass of champagne, while Geoffrey spoke to the crowd of media and VIP guests about his personal journey through 25 years in the industry. Notable attendees included TV personalities Kylie Gillies, Michelle Bridges, Steve Willis, Michael Brown and Georgie Gardner, while media from Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and the Sunday Telegraph showed up.
Ultra MD skin expert Tracey Beeby provided one-on-one consultations with guests, offering them their own personalised skin programs including a selection of premium skin care products to take away.
The Ultra MD range has been developed over 5 years, described as the pinnacle of Ultraceuticals’ product innovations.
“I have spent well over twenty years as a cosmetic physician working with clients exposed to one of the harshest conditions in the world – the Australian sun,” said Dr Heber. “My team and I developed the Ultra MD range of products as a concise science based regimen of products to address the major skin concerns of ageing and pigmentation. The Ultra MD range of products has been developed using high concentrations of potent ingredients in sophisticated consumer trialed formulations and is available solely through cosmetic medical practices.”
