Easydry celebrates a year of amazing water conservation as Australia’s top salons and colleges were among the recipients of its Save Our Water Awards, announced this month.
Wild Life Hair and Jools for Jim headed the illustrious list of water-saving champions, between them conserving nearly half a million litres of water in 2012. But other salons such as Servilles Albany and Tribe Lifestyle were also recognised, receiving certificates that will show their clients the success of their efforts to reduce water waste.
“We are 100 per cent committed to producing eco-friendly products, and the Easydry Save Our Water Awards reinforce this,” said Gavin Hinton, Easydry general manager.
“Sustainability is a huge part of what we believe in and Easydry has spent nearly 10 years driving innovation in fabric construction to find problem-solving products for our partner salons – helping them cut their carbon footprint.”
Easydry launched the Save Our Water Awards last year to celebrate the conservation commitments of its customers. Together they have helped save Australia millions of litres of water in the past three years by switching to the Easydry system and ending the waste caused by laundering towels.
Even though the nine-year drought has officially ended, the awards prove hairdressers are still mindful of the need to preserve Australia’s precious natural resource. And their clients appreciate it, welcoming their salons’ commitment to the environment.
