ghd Australia combines forces

ghd Australia is excited to announce that the distributors in New South Wales (Red Bedes) and Queensland (Headline) have joined its Australian business.

This decision follows ghd’s continued strategy to employ a fully direct sales and distribution model in order to strongly support stylist centric growth strategy and plans.

Both Red Bedes and Headline have been instrumental in helping build an extensive salon network within major cities including Sydney and Brisbane as well as the rest of New South Wales and Queensland. As part of the integration, many of the sales, education and customer service staff have also joined ghd.

“I am delighted to announce the integration of Headline and Red Bedes with ghd Australia, which now makes us a fully direct salon only distribution business. This is fantastic news for ghd Australia along with our valued clients, offering increased opportunities for salons and stylists under a national direct model. It allows us to a deliver consistent strategic direction and deploy our plans nationally. This is an exciting new future for the company,” says Anthony Grigson, Managing Director of ghd Asia Pacific.

Furthermore, ghd has announced that Kylie Oakes, who was the Managing Director of Red Bedes, will be joining ghd, taking up the role of Business Development Director and will support the execution of the integration of the two businesses into ghd Australia. Kylie has long demonstrated a strong passion for the Australian hair industry and the ghd brand.

“Kylie will play an integral role within the business moving forward. We warmly welcome Kylie into the fold at this exciting time and wish her success in her new role,” said Anthony.
