Rising with the sun, four beauty editors boarded a plane to Brisbane to attend a lunch with the Dalai Lama on Friday, June 17th, thanks to Pureology.
Eugenie Kelly, Stephanie Darling, Anni Hall and Paul Schiraldi
Stephanie Darling (Madison), Eugenie Kelly (Harper’s Bazaar), Anni Hall (Vogue.com.au) and Alex Noonan (Marie Claire) were warmly greeted in Brisbane by Redken & Pureology General Manager; Paul Schiraldi where they entered the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Lunch was hosted by The Green Cross Australia; an organisation that empowers people to respond to environmental change, in ways that embrace sustainability and community resilience.
In 2009, Pureology formed an exclusive global partnership with The Green Cross International to help foster a sustainable future, starting with the salon industry. Steph, Eugenie, Anni, and Alex were guests of Pureology at the lunch in Brisbane; representing a brand that is underpinned by organic botanicals, 100 per cent vegan ingredients, and an ethos of integrity.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama
His Holiness the Dalai Lama was the key speaker on the day; not only promoting positive human values but focussing on environmental thinking and the action required. In hand, inspirational leaders such as Graeme Wood; founder of Wotif.com and Yassmin Abdel-Magied; Young Queenslander of the Year shared their personal stories of leadership and impact with the attentive guests.
