Winners of the 2008/2009 American Crew Face Off grooming competition jetted to Los Angeles in July to style a photo shoot, take in Hollywood’s sights and sip cocktails by the pool of the infamous Chateau Marmont.
Marco Terzini, Dani Biles and Stephen Foyle
Marco Terzini of Spada and Dani Biles of Rokk Ebony represented Victoria while Stephen Foyle of Detail for Men flew the New South Wales flag in a jam-packed couple of days that saw the winners rub shoulders with tinseltown luminaries such as Mary-Kate Olsen, Guy Ritchie and Diana Ross.
Based at the iconic Chateau Marmont, each winner was fortunate enough to style a photo shoot with American Crew founder and President David Raccuglia at the famed Quixote studios with a stellar cast of leading US models. The results will be published in the 2008/2009 American Crew FACE OFF magazine and will feature in Culture magazine later this year.

“It was inspiring to work alongside somebody as talented and passionate as David. He was a great mentor and provided us with invaluable styling and photographic tips that I’m sure will help with my growth as a hair stylist,” said Dani Biles.

In between shooting and taking in expert tips, the winners hit the sights, shopped, partied at hot spot Hyde, dined at celebrity playground The Ivy and soaked up the rays during a day trip to Malibu, Santa Monica and Venice beaches.
The fun doesn’t stop there though – the trio will take part in another photo shoot for Culture magazine in Sydney later this year before shooting a spread for esteemed men’s magazine GQ.
