Finalists in the AIPP Awards 2009-2010 have just been announced with Australian hairdressing stars placing in every single highly covetable category.
Young gun Rebecca Woloszek of Lee Preston is a finalist in the Best Commercial Collection section of the competition while The Art of Hair‘s Sharon Blain is in the running to take out the award for Best Avant Garde with images from her ‘Renaissance’ collection.
The reigning 2009 Hair Expo Australian Hairdresser of the Year Caterina DiBiase of Melbourne’s Heading Out will go head to head with é SALON’s Emiliano Vitale in the Best Photography Award while é SALON’s Marc Mendicino is poised to walk away with the trophy for Best Men’s Collection.
In what is shaping up to be a competition dominated by é SALON, the whole team is in the running for the Best Video Award.
The prestigious annual AIPP Awards were established in 1997 to celebrate the best hair fashion collections throughout the world, as chosen by a jury of publishers associated with the AIPP.
