Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Caterina Di Biase, led a team of 70 stylists over two days and nights to raise over $10,000 for the Red Cross Victoria Bushfire appeal.

With 255 haircuts, 25 manicures and 102 gift bags sold, the Heading Out Hair-Raiser saw stylists working the floor at lightning speed to keep the money rolling in.
The snip of scissors and whirr of hair dryers were a constant during the two day fundraising event held at the Heading Out Hairdressing Academy in Melbourne’s Fitzroy.
At dusk, a team of DJ’s kept spirits and energy high as stylists worked tirelessly into both nights doing their bit for the Victorian tragedy.
Along with the generosity of the Heading Out team, L’Oréal Professionnel, Kevin.Murphy, Aveda, American Crew and The Towel Exchange are just some of the charitable sponsors who made the event possible.
