Taking out the top gongs in the Fashion and Beauty categories were Carla Zampatti, Sue Ismiel and Nicole Kidman at the 2013 InStyle & Audi Women of Style Awards held on Tuesday 14th May at Carriageworks in Sydney.

Nad’s Natural Hair Removal beauty entrepreneur Sue Ismiel took out the award in the Beauty Category not only for her contribution  to the beauty industry, but also for her contributions to the community, sponsoring more than 100 children in Ethopia and rasing over $200,000 for The Children’s Hospital in Westmead.

“Sue’s passion for beauty is personal and professional,” says InStyle editor Kirsten Galliott. “Her InStyle and Audi Women of Style win honours her hard work and outstanding success as a businesswoman.”

Securing the prestigious award in the Fashion Category, Australian Designer Carla Zampatti was recognized for her business success, turning over approximately $30 million annually. Further to her achievements, Carla is an active philanthropist, supporting such organizations as the Garvan Institute, Medicins Sans Frontieres and Mission Australia.

“After almost five decades in the business, it is clear Zampatti has made an indelible mark on the Australian fashion industry, and she is very deserving of this win,” said Galliott.

Taking out the coveted InStyle & Audi Women of Style Hall of Fame award which celebrates a former winner’s continued career and community contributions was Australian actress Nicole Kidman.

“I am really, reall honoured to be receiving this award tonight,” said Kidman, accepting the award via video link. “And I’m so glad my mum is there to accept the award on my behalf. She made me – everything I am is because of her.”

Over 300 guests attended the red-carpet awards ceremony in Sydney, including celebrities the likes of Kate Richie, Rachael Finch, Cheyenne Tozzi, and Alex Perry.
