Apart from walking away with a gleaming trophy, Tredgold bagged a return flight to London to attend Salon International, five nights’ accommodation and $1000 in cash.
“The Joico Innovision Photo Quest 2009 was a great opportunity for every hairdresser to showcase their creative flair with no boundaries. The goal for my collection was to show something beautiful but also ultra creative in the one look. I called it “Crimped Beauty” which not only shows natural beauty but also technical styling, simple makeup and great photography. I really wanted to encourage that less can be more. It was a joy to create the collection. I love the simplicity of Joico – no fuss just great styling attitude,” said Tredgold.
Joico guest artists together with their education team sought images that featured contemporary, classic, striking or just simply beautiful creations across three distinct categories – cut, colour and style. Using Joico’s Vero K-Pak Color System, and other products within the Joico line-up, entrants were encouraged to submit images that pushed the boundaries of creativity and style.
