Kerastase relaxes the media

Kérastase Paris launched an extension to their Oléo-Relax range to beauty media at the L’Oreal Training Academy in Sydney’s Pyrmont on April 2, 2009.

Designed to reduce volume and frizziness in very dry and rebellious hair, the three new additions to this already stand out range are likely to be in hot demand by those with unruly locks. The intensely hydrating regime consists of a wash-out treatment, smoothing cream and deluxe night treatment.

The event kicked off with a product presentation where the slimming power of this premium haircare range was illuminated. The night treatment drew the most interest as editors learnt of Kérastase Paris‘ belief that the night’s restorative powers should be used to repair our hair – just as we harness it to restore our skin.

The day’s activities continued as two models, with unruly heads of voluminous and frizzy hair, were treated to the new ‘relaxing’ procedure while beauty editors enjoyed a 30 minute calming ritual all of their own. Each editor was treated to a half hour head, neck and shoulder massage by their very own personal masseuse.

The event drew to a close with the models reappearing post-treatment with noticeably slimmed down and tamed locks and attendees departing as more relaxed versions of their former selves.
