LENDAN’s charity quest

Hair and skin care brand LENDAN is continuing its quest to make a difference by supporting various charities, most notably through its exclusive partnership with Make-A-Wish Australia.

‘Pretty in Pink’ – one of LENDAN’s recent charitable involvements.

In 2010, LENDAN will donate $20,000 to Make-A-Wish Australia and has also introduced the ‘Wishes for Kids Awards’ which are based around the sale of LENDAN Hair & Skin Care Retail Products and donations made through the official Make-A-Wish Collection Tin – which have already helped raise an additional $1000.

The ‘Wishes for Kids Awards’ comprise of two specific awards:

The ‘Wishes for Kids Retail Award’ which can be entered by simply purchasing any LENDAN Hair or Skin Care Retail Product. Prizes include $500 worth of Services for the winning consumer paid by Lendan to the winning Salon. Also, the winning salons Stylist/Therapist will receive $200 cash and $300 worth of LENDAN Skin Care Products.

The ‘Wishes for Kids Fundraising Award’ can be entered by making a $2 donation via the Make-A-Wish collection tin. Quarterly prizes include iPods, gold class movie tickets and gift vouchers,  provided for both the winning consumer and salon stylist/therapist.

“We wanted to create an awards concept that truly made a difference”, said LENDAN Marketing Manager Nick Panagiotou. “Too often, companies introduce award systems that increase their bottom line but don’t provide their loyal clients with anything in return for their generosity and support.
Lendan is committed in helping Make-A-Wish Australia grant wishes for kids with life-threatening medical conditions, and is not content with simply making a donation but wants to get involved as much as possible.”

Pretty in Pink

LENDAN is constantly looking to assist other worthy charities and recently provided a hair and skin care hamper for the Gold Pool Prize in the Melbourne City Romp which proudly supports the Burnett Institute‘s Romp for a Cure initiative.

All fundraising assists the Burnett Institute in its fight against The ‘Big Three’: HIV, TB and Malaria, some of the world’s worst infectious diseases which cause the death of seven million people each year.

More than 12,000 ‘Rompers’ from all over Australia took part in the 2010 event, featuring 2,400 teams and helped raise $116,233.00!

LENDAN again focused on helping charity by taking part in the ‘Pretty in Pink’ Fashion Parade Luncheon hosted by the Burnett Institute on Tuesday 4th May 2010 to help raise much needed funds for Breast Cancer Research.

LENDAN  provided a hair and skin care hamper as part of the silent auction and also provided over 150 show bags not only full with LENDAN samples but also a generous 50% off treatments from Lendan Concept Salon Esprit Hair & Day Spa.
