They may call it The Voice, but we all know it’s all about The Hair.

As such, Matrix have come on board the hit reality show as official partners of The Voice, putting a talented team of session stylists led by Matrix Design Team member Steve Corthine of Stevie English Hair backstage. With The Voice premiering to 1.4 million people, winning its slot for the night when it debuted on May 1st, these will be the hair looks seen around the country.

When mega-star hosts Ronan Keating, Delta Goodrem, Jessie J and Joel and Benji Madden turn their chairs, they’ll be faced with newly minted artists, specialised Matrix hair looks included. The team will be vital in turning these everyday applicants into stage-ready musical sensations.

“My experience on The Voice Season V has been extraordinary… the atmosphere backstage is intense and electric, and has provided the perfect platform to showcase cutting edge hair looks inspired by MATRIX’s global trend narratives,” Stevie said. “Height Riser Volumizing Powder from the brand’s invincible Style Link collection has emerged as my ‘hero’ backstage product to create effortless, undone glamour for the contestants. Casual is in, contrived and overdone is out.”

Sonia Kruger is back to host the show’s 5th season, which promises a wealth of new stars sure to dominate the water cooler conversation.
