The Melbourne RACV Club was the place to be on October 12, as over 140 students celebrated completion of a variety of Pivot Point’s accredited courses at a highly anticipated graduation ceremony.

Guest speaker and long-hair styling icon Sharon Blain, delivered an inspirational speech to the graduating class espousing the value of working hard to excel in the industry.
Blain, along with General Manager of Pivot Point Academies Ruth Browne, Pivot Point Director of Studies, Sarah Conlon and Principal, Mary Circosta presented awards to select students in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
Hats off to award winners Tasha Baulch for Outstanding Apprentice, Youn Jin Hur for Outstanding Student and Kathryn Collins, recipient of the Principals Award. Duryea Hairdressing in Colac, Victoria and Zucci Hairdressing in Melbourne both won Industry Recognition awards for ongoing commitment to training.

“It has been such an amazing journey for me. I came to Pivot Point Academy two years ago. This graduation ceremony marks the continuous learning opportunities provided by Pivot Point,” said Kathryn Collins, Principal Award winner.
“My employer, Rocco Petrucci, has given me a great start by recommending Pivot Point as the preferred training provider in Melbourne. I would like to return in time to complete my Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management in order to support the running of the business for my employer.”
