A technological breakthrough has allowed Easydry to upgrade its unique fabric, making it even more absorbent, hygienic and strong, and will be unveiling the upgraded towel at Hair Expo this weekend.
The pioneer of disposable salon towelling by introducing WaterWeave ot its multi award-winning towel. WaterWeave is a patented technology that uses high-pressure water jets directed at a scientifically calculated angle to entangle the fibres and high-temperature ovens to dry the fabric and ensure the finished towel is hygienic.
This new technology means Easydry towels can now absorb more than three times as much water as a cotton towel without losing integrity and with no need to rub – they simply soak up the moisture.
“Using Easydry towels means no more rubbing to lift excess water from the hair after shampooing. We just blot, then wrap hair in a turban, which leaves the hair cuticle with a smooth, flat finish for cutting, colouring and blow-drying,” said multi award winner Matt Clements of Assembly Hair on the Sunshine Coast. “It’s much more comfortable for the client. It is lighter and more secure, and because it is the most absorbent disposable towel, we can move the client from the backwash to the styling position with the turban in place and avoid any unpleasant drips down the client’s neck,” he said.
WaterWeave complements Easydry’s existing patented Uatt (Ultra Anti-Tear Technology) process, which was developed by the company more than five years ago to guarantee the superior towel stands up to high levels of wear and tear, yet maintains its strength and durability, even when wet.
