Individualism was the brief for Alix Higgins at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, with ghd elevating natural textures and enhancing the hair looks of each model to complement the fashion work.
“The look for the show is all about individuality, looking at each model and working with their natural textures, partings and personal style,” said Benjamin James, Hair Director. “The inspiration has been the idea of individuality meets polished textured hair. Almost the whole ghd hot tool arsenal was used as we wanted to add to the natural textures not take away from them.”
Essential tools included the ghd Helios, ghd Platinum+, ghd Max Style, ghd Thin Wand, ghd body guard heat protectant, ghd shiny ever after, ghd perfect ending hairspray and ghd curly ever after curl hold spray. The ghd Unplugged was also used for on-set touch-ups.
“ghd’s tools are designed to inspire creativity in the fashion realm and the beauty rooms of our consumers,” shared ghd Ludovic Dellazzeri, ghd ANZ Managing Director. “We are thrilled to partner with AAFW 2022 and excited to create artistic looks through the hands of our professional stylist team, inspired by beloved established and emerging Australian Fashion brands.”
