Welcome Fiona Beamish to the role of Interim CEO of the Australian Hairdressing Council (AHC), effective as of February 2025.
Fiona will draw on more than three decades of experience in the hair industry, where she has led a distinguished career in the global hair product industry, across Australia, Ireland, the UK, and Asia. She is also an expert in education, training, and sales and has owned and operated the national distribution of a UK-based hair brand.
“We are delighted to welcome Fiona as our new interim CEO,” shared AHC Chair Luca De Lorenzo. “Her extensive hairdressing experience will be invaluable in supporting our members and advocating for the wider hair industry.”


Fiona has been part of the AHC in the past as an AHC member and as part of the member support team with the organisation. She is renowned for her ability to identify trends, streamline operations, and implement innovative solutions, while also excelling at coaching businesses and supporting industry success through education, mentorship, and strategic solutions. This business knowledge and expertise will be pivotal in Fiona’s role of guiding the AHC’s growth.
