American Crew and Revlon Professional took to the world stage, showcasing up and coming hair trends at the Style Masters Show in Lisbon. One of the biggest hair events in the world, the event saw 3500 hairdressers hailing from over seventy countries inspired by a host of impressive looks by the distinguished brands.

Held at the MEO Arena, the big event did not disappoint. American Crew handled the male looks and utilised their expertise in masculine styles. Their collection, entitled The Independent, presented modern day business and sporting looks, twisting the modern beard aesthetic and showcasing progressive male styling, all amidst corporate suits, trendy street wear and rowing outfits as fashion pieces.

Revlon Professional used the opportunity to announce their new exciting global ambassadors, superstars Halle Berry, Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde. Their collections, named Yes, I Do and Neon, switched between elegant bridal wear with gorgeous long curls and sophisticated up styles and bright, candy-coloured looks that played with bold pops of colour, carnival-inspired shapes and cute, feminine silhouettes in the Nutri Color Crème segment.

The gala was hosted by International Artistic Director for Revlon Professional, Miguel Garcia Cotado. Peru’s Angelita Lizbeth Carrion was announced as the Global Winner of the Style Master International Contest 2014, while Germany’s Jerome Kantner was named the winner of the Global All-Star Challenge, which recognises exceptional male styling.
