Winners from all over Australia were rewarded for outstanding excellence in their field, across all aspects of business services, as voted on by media, industry and business professionals.

“To launch the AHIA’s with such a phenomenal response has been testament to the need for awards such as this,” said creator of the awards, Linda Woodhead. “Through the number of entrants, caliber of winners, and support of sponsors, it has been made crystal clear that setting a benchmark for business excellence and gaining recognition for business success is something the hair industry both want and need. The 2014 winners are truly leaders in their field and we wish them all a huge congratulations.”

Also announced at the gala dinner event were the 2013/14 Bio Ionic Hot Shots winners. Now in its third year, the Hot Shots awards recognise hairdressers under 30 who display unrivalled talent, creativity and – most importantly ¬– passion. The awards are judged by members of the media, photographers, award winning hairdressers and educators.

The winners will also get the opportunity to spend time with industry icons such as Errol Douglas, Tracey Hughes, Sharon Blain and Eden Sassoon, along with a photo shoot and profile feature in HAIRBIZ.
